The formation of the Student Union acts as a body which works for safeguarding the interests of the students and also creates a sense of responsibility in them. Student Union elections are conducted in the college as per the recommendations of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and Lyngdoh Committee and also as per the guidelines of the Govt. of Uttarakhand. The Student Union consists of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint-Secretary, Treasurer and also six Executive Members. Apart from this, election is also held for the post of University Representative.
